1. Introduction

Welcome to Her Shield. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of hershield.co.in (the “Website”) and your purchase of products from us. The Website and the Her Shield brand are owned and operated by JBS Wellbeing Industries (“Her Shield”, “we”, “us”, “our”), No.10/B, Pillaiyar Kovil Street, Gandhi Nagar, Theeyambakkam, Chennai – 600060, Tamil Nadu, India.

By browsing the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Return & Cancellation Policy and Shipping Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to place an order. If you are under 18, you may use the Website and buy our products only with the involvement and consent of a parent or lawful guardian.

3. Products and Product Information

Her Shield sells sanitary pads for personal hygiene use.
We try to show product details, images and descriptions as accurately as possible. Colours, packaging and appearance may differ slightly from what you see on your screen or from the images shown.
Pack sizes, product specifications and availability are as stated on the product page and on the pack. The quality standard and usage details printed on the pack apply to the product you receive.
Please read the usage, storage and disposal instructions on the pack before use.
Product information on the Website is for general information only. It is not medical advice. If you have any skin condition, allergy, infection, unusual discharge or other health concern, please consult a doctor before using any hygiene product. Stop use and seek medical advice if you experience irritation or discomfort.

4. Pricing

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are shown on the product page and at checkout.
Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges, if any, are shown separately at checkout before payment.
We may change prices, offers and discounts at any time without notice. The price you see when you place your order is the price you pay.
If a product is listed at a wrong price because of a technical or typing error, we may cancel the order and refund the full amount paid.

5. Placing and Accepting Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order, which we do by sending an order confirmation by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
We may refuse or cancel an order if the product is out of stock, the PIN code is not serviceable, there is a pricing or listing error, or we suspect fraud or misuse.
Please check your order details, address and phone number carefully before paying.
You can cancel an order as described in our Return & Cancellation Policy.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment partner, Razorpay, or another RBI-authorised payment gateway. You can pay using the methods shown at checkout, such as UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking and wallets.
We do not store your full card details, UPI PIN, CVV or net-banking credentials.
By making a payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the chosen payment method.
If your payment fails but money is deducted, it is normally refunded automatically by your bank or the payment gateway within 5 to 7 working days.
Payment gateway and bank terms apply to all transactions. We are not responsible for delays, errors or charges caused by your bank or payment provider.

7. Shipping, Returns and Refunds

Delivery, cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by our Shipping Policy and Return & Cancellation Policy. Because sanitary pads are a hygiene product, opened or used packs cannot be returned.

8. Your Account and Information

You agree to give accurate, complete and current information when placing an order or contacting us.
If you create an account (where available), you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Website for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose
Provide false information or use another person’s payment details without permission
Try to hack, disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems
Copy, scrape, or collect data from the Website using automated tools without our written permission
Post or send anything abusive, defamatory, obscene or that infringes someone else’s rights

We may suspend or block access to the Website, or cancel orders, if you break these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including the Her Shield name, logo, packaging designs, text, images, graphics and videos, is owned by or licensed to JBS Wellbeing Industries and is protected by Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use any of it for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

11. Reviews and Feedback

If you submit a review, comment or feedback, you give us a non-exclusive, free right to use, display and share it for business and promotional purposes, without revealing your personal contact details. You confirm that what you submit is your own, honest and does not break any law or anyone’s rights.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make every effort to keep the Website accurate, available and secure, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Website will always be uninterrupted, error-free or free from viruses. Individual experience with any hygiene product may vary from person to person.

Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Her Shield and JBS Wellbeing Industries will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Website or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for a defective product under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any delay or failure in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, government orders, transport disruptions, power or internet failures.

15. Third-Party Links and Services

The Website may link to third-party websites or use third-party services (such as payment gateways and couriers). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
